“This week we want to…”
There's actually not much that Mini Me has asked to do. It's more stuff that I want to do. For instance, I really want to stay home and work on some of the numerous projects that seem to be so hit and miss with us. So much so that I've actually made a bag with my plastic canvas projects and yarn in it so I can grab them on the way out the door. However, there's still a lot of projects that we can't do that with and that I'd like to see us get a move on with (i.e. Mini Me's paper building project of the tallest building in the world, the egg shell chalk we started making months ago, some painting we meant to do, etc.)
“The kids are..."
Mini Me is content running around keeping busy. Whenever she's home she's been into BeyBlade and wanting to watch cartoons. I've actually had to put the ban back on TV as it's driving me crazy LOL
“I am learning….”
I am learning to sit back and relax some. Although this simply isn't easy for me to do. I'm the type that even when I'm sitting still I have to be doing something. Since I've chosen not to work as much, this something has been in the form of doing plastic canvas projects. I can't believe that I've made 3 fairly big Halloween items and have 1 in my bag still to finish. I'm also working on a Christmas present, a mouse pad and a cupcake. Needless to say they'll probably all be finished rather quickly too LOL
“I am struggling with…”
I am struggling with never being home. I keep telling Mini Me that we're doing way too much but she doesn't seem to see it this way. We are so much the same in a lot of ways but so different in other ways and this is 1 area where we are complete opposites. I like being home, she likes being on the go.
“This week is the first time….”
This week is the first time that I've thought about the fact that Mini Me will be a tween in about 2 weeks. I'm not so sure how I feel about that. It hasn't really made me feel old or anything... It's just weird to think about it LOL
“I am grateful…”
I am grateful for the time when we are home and the fact that I don't have a ton of work to do while home. It lets me feel relaxed, especially since the house is actually fairly clean for a change LOL
“I think…..is the best month of the year because…”
I think October is a great month, not necessarily the best month of the year though. I'm not even sure that I have a favorite month of the year. Although, I do like December because of Christmas. I like October because the house is cool enough to start baking again and there's something in the air that draws me home and into the whole nature thing.
