I enjoy Saturday mornings... It's my chance to do some reviewing and planning. I am on a Yahoo list that shares their homeschool blogs each Saturday and while they are traditional homeschoolers in every sense of the word, it still gives me plenty of stuff to draw from. I like getting ideas for books, projects and other things from them that Mini Me and I would enjoy doing together.
It seems as though I never blog anymore. Life has been somewhat busy though and we keep plotting along. I just realied this week that Mini Me starts rehearsals for her Christmas musical at church next week. Where has this year gone?
Mini Me is now 10 and I can't believe it. She got a laptop for her birthday and now has found a lot of great games to play again. Unfortunately, she was sick for her birthday and took the following week to heal so we didn't do much. Then last week I caught a cold and we took that week easy too. I think we're both ready to rock'n'roll with activities again though.
I've been busy participating in my plastic canvas groups. I added a photo gallery so you can see some of the things I've been making. I've also been doing some writing and reading. I need to get some movies to watch though as all that ever seems to be on TV anymore is repeats.
Well, I know that there's not a lot of schooly stuff to mention right now but we've mainly just been living life. There are times when that is just as important as getting down and dirty with the schoolbooks. I'm finding that there is definitely different seasons in life and we seem to be in a new one as we head into the holidays. There's plenty of real life opportunities coming up for learning though so I'm not worried about it one bit.
