Some days are just easier than others...
Today was a somewhat easier day than the majority of them have been lately. I managed to get up and get my work done this morning before Mini Me crawled out of bed and we enjoyed pancakes for breakfast. After breakfast and a little housework we were off on errands. Once home again Mini Me sat down to do some math (4 or 5 digit addition problems) before we ventured out for a walk. I think that after yesterday's awesome walk (we saw a humming bird about the length of my forearem away from my face, a spider at work and a cat trying to get a squirrel whose mom was protecting it) we were secretly hoping for more fun but we didn't get such luck although it was an enjoyable walk. We then came home and had some lunch. Mini Me is off at chess club now and I'm trying to get some of her school stuff updated (wish me luck on that as it seems like a never ending challenged LOL).
We've been pretty busy lately, of course. Over the past couple of days Mini Me has done lots of math, Mad Libs, cooking and yesterday she was at church most of the day - culminating with choir. There have been some pretty interesting websites that we've enjoyed too. One was a pretty in depth
"tour" of a bee hive and the other was a short video about the
Eerie Canal. It should be an interesting week with plenty to do - youth group tomorrow, homeschool group Thursday, shopping Friday, decorating for Halloween Saturday and church Sunday. What's up with you this week?
